A Humbling Expo Experience

If ECMIL’s participation in the recent Specialty Caribbean Expo 17, in St Lucia,
taught us anything, it was that the company and product messages
were extremely well received and completely on point.

Deciding what the content says, within this publication, is no random choice.

Company and product information is interwoven to allow readers to be entertained, while becoming better informed. That is all at a distance. So when confronted with the recent interactive trade show experience,
it was like no other.

Face to face, the learning curve and interaction is always intense. The vibrance of questions, responses
and reactions were palpable.  For one real moment, the tables were turned!

Of course, when you have reliable, tried and tested products to discuss, the conversations seem to last...well,
till the next one! The depth of discourse and visible decision making on the part of potential customers was remarkable.

Most heartwarming for me, was the diversity of visitors, from corporate and supplier interests, engineers and architects, to intended spouses as first time builders and older home owners looking for replacements, upgrades and better ways of doing things.

These are the body of ECMIL’s clients, but this time, up close and personal, and to all accounts delighted to see first hand what they wanted, or had already received.

ECMIL’s regional energy has been built by the diversity of these customers. From simple requests, to the demand for challenging solutions, the company and its products have satisfied its audience and yet continued to keep the offer fresh and in tune with changing technology and styles.

If St. Lucia’s show is the litmus test for a typical response to high quality roofing and steel fabrication, then the future expectations of the region appear to be, to embrace international standards of manufacture for the construction industry. This places ECMIL, front and centre in the customer understanding and demand for durability and style at a fair regional price.

The company is fully committed to a steady evolution in styling, having recently added Woodland Grey, as its 13th Colorbond® colour, with incredible customer response before, during and after the show. Two more additions are lightly, as the year progresses.

With the greatest of reception, comes even greater responsibility to deliver a well informed service, always willing to move the customer’s project forward, in the company’s roll as materials specialist and manufacturer.
There lies ECMIL’s continued commitment.

As a seasoned campaigner, the company joined so many enterprises, big and small under one roof again, after such a lull in regional activity. It was genuinely refreshing to witness this initiative. As our nations become more conversant with our vibrant and growing business sector and buy regional, so we will flourish.

To those who visited with us at the show and engaged us as interested customers, we are grateful for your patronage and hope that we can work together soon.

For all those who simply showed interest, we say thanks for the opportunity to tell the ECMIL story.
Ours was an uplifting and humbling experience.

Steel lies at the heart of the Caribbean’s now and future development.
So if you missed us at the show, get in touch and connect with the ECMIL experience!
