The Aerial Art of The Roof

We supply the finest quality roofing material in 3 distinctive profiles and 13 beautiful colours, with all the appropriate trimmings.
The buildings components which make our products come alive are without a doubt, the often remarkable roof designs of the constructions we cover.

In the 21st century, fine art, design and engineering have never been so close. This creativity and perception renaissance is sharp and the need to innovate and make bold statements has become the architects' and designers' badge of courage.

As our region evolves, so the need for new Caribbean classics grows.
New engineering and multipurpose ergonomically friendly buildings to suit us; not European or North American conversions with no spirit of the islands and little or no functionality, save central air conditioning.

There are cries for urban renewal, user experience, reduction of carbon footprint, cost consciousness and respect for materials, end users, non disruptive building systems and better channeling of nature with multipurpose design.

A lecturer at college once told me that if you wish to truly understand your work and gain perspective to move forward,
turn it upside down.

I have used that practice to my advantage for forty years.

So when the opportunity presented itself, to use drone photography to add a new dimension to views of our products,
we welcomed this change of perspective.

Apart from the obvious fascination derived from aerial photography and the new sense of the building within
its surroundings, I could not help but regenerate my admiration for the designer’s role in this creation and the roofer’s work in making it real.

The list of perceptive skills in function and form, combined with the physical and technical skills in its assembly, are in themselves as stunning as they are risky.

All too often we take the simplest of
things in our lives for granted.

The technology of aerial photography, on such an intimate scale, brings not only a fresh perspective and view, but a better understanding of cover and shelter and its purpose to channel nature to our best advantage.

It reveals the practical application of well formed and calibrated components, which make sense.

The end user experience works, with perfect regularity.

Steel, with a variety of well researched coatings, makes it possible to control and store water, divert winds, which would otherwise damage its supporting structure, resist heat and UV deterioration and allow us the critical protection from the elements, whose voracity increases apace, due to global climate change.

That new view has also enhanced our understanding of what our customers and their designers and engineers wish to create.  This in turn expands the information we pass on to other customers; the hows and whys to further develop our product profile and use.

It’s never been enough for us to
‘just sell galvanise’.

If that were so, we would not offer the comprehensive collection of products that we do.  Our products are tried and tested, reliable and durable, with an experienced sales staff, who are happy to pass on our accumulated knowledge.
