ECMIL The Steel of The Region

Essential Combinations

As global weather patterns evolve
and increasingly dictate the story our lives,
so Steel, in all of its essential combinations, continues to be the most reliable material which allows us protection and survival.

Prudent management of our shelter has become the key to maintaining and developing our world; constructions to withstand and manage winds and water are being constantly tested at all levels in our Caribbean.

If we are to find our way, with safety, then we must invest in common sense structures which embrace essential combinations of ideas and materials, to capitalise our natural resources.

From water storage to solar energy, storm water channeling and better foundations, heat reduction materials and better security mechanisms, we must embrace better thinking and smarter response,
to enhance our lives, be they personal, community, business or country.

All of these have essential combinations of Steel products at the core of successful strategies.

Responsibility has never been someone else's problem. Each of us has a role to play in a better way of living. Especially the creative ideas of young engineers, architects and the construction industry, as they strive to find novel solutions to age old regional difficulties.

At ECMIL we have created our product range through many years of hands-on experience, assisting a great many construction projects with the supply of highest quality steel items, to achieve lasting and durable results.
We are proud to say that we keep moving forward in our technology and offer to our customers.

We know what you need and have refined our products to supply with only international quality and standards. A perfect example of this lies in Zincalume®, a tried and tested high performance steel, for roofing or siding, with a manufacturer recommendation for

"The use of Zincalume® steel
for the collection of drinking water"

It's tremendously attractive and water safe too!

Our recent weekly posts series emphasises
Steel Combinations, which are essential to creating
more secure and holistically sustainable structures
and living environments, across the Region.

All of this does not just apply to new projects.

The majority of construction problems, which often show themselves during or after bad weather, are maintenance work, which can be resolved by reinforcement, cleaning and replacement,
or reengineering, to better suit new weather patterns or changes in physical surroundings.

Strengthen it, update it, seal it,
tighten it and keep water away.

This is our recommended checklist for any construction, which responds to the majority of bad weather issues.

We don't have minimum orders at ECMIL.
We supply what you need to resolve your project.
This not only includes steel, it also includes experience
and good advice.  Just ask and explain.

Every day we send considerable quantities of well chosen steel products to all corners of the Caribbean, on the strength of those customer conversations. They are the starting point for a more reliable and secure environment and investment.

From roofing screws to coated steel, proofing against bats and rodents, custom built water tanks, rebar, welded mesh and chain link fencing, with as many accessories as it takes to address the problem.

Our customers and ECMIL are the most important combination of all.

From Rebar and welded mesh, to barbed wire, chain link fencing, water tanks, wheelbarrows and nails, purchasing from a manufacturer and consolidating your shipping, will result in significant savings against standard retail purchases.

And by making prudent arrangements regarding the shipping container, your material security and product availability will save on your production time.
